The Level Two compressed air audit involves the installation of monitoring equipment for a full analysis of not only the set-up of equipment and arrangement of piping, but also an in-depth analysis of the trends within the compressed air piping. Included in the Level Two compressed air audit is the analysis of flow, pressure in the piping, as well as, kilowatt consumption of the compressors. Data is recorded on all three of these elements every second and all data is correlated and presented in report format. The Level Two compressed air audit is performed over a week plus a weekend to capture all trends that occur during the different production shifts. The level 1 compressed air audit combined with the monitoring of the above described components is an excellent an economical way to evaluate your current system demands and costs. The Level Two audit is recommended for facilities with 50 or more horsepower that are experiencing pressure or air quality issues or are considering expansion and want to identify current operating costs.
