Ultrasonic Leak Detection

Compressed air leaks can account for 20% to 30% of air consumption in industrial manufacturing facilities. Most of our clients are surprised at the actual quantity of air leakage that exists. Our leak tests are performed using state of the art ultrasonic diagnostic technology performed without interference from daily production noise.

A two-tier color-coded tagging process is used to identify leaks. This ensures the more serious leaks can be addressed first. Each tag is laminated to protect it from inside or outside elements and ensures it stays in place until removed by plant personnel.

Leaks can be plotted on customer supplied plan drawings or P&ID drawings for further clarification. A detailed report is available on completion outlining total air loss consumption and payback and projected costs for repairing the leaks.
